
The Mammoth Bulldog, also known as Mammut, is a medium-sized dog comprised of American Bulldog, Bandogge, English Bulldog, Olde English Bulldogge, and Bullmastiff. It is a reestablishment of the original longer-haired, old style working bulldog of the 1800’s. Overall they are muscular and built for strength and agility. They are free from of all breathing issues.
Life Expectancy: 9 – 11 years
Height: 17-21″ at the shoulder for males and females.
Weight: 60-130 lbs.
Coat & Color: Long coat often appearing as feathering around the ears, back of legs, and tail. Any color except solid white is accepted.
Head: Broad and square with a distinct stop.
Ears: Set high. All types accepted.
Muzzle: Broad and deep, longer than the English Bulldog’s, but does not exceed the length of the skull. Bite is unshot under 1/4″ with all teeth present.
Eyes: Oval-shaped.
Nose: Black, brown, or liver colored.
Neck: Short to medium length, broad, muscular, and slightly arched. The neck should taper gradually from the shoulders to back of skull. Skin should be tight.
Chest: Wide and deep with closed ribs.
Shoulders: Strong and well-defined.
Legs: Forelegs and hind legs should be strong and well-defined. Hips are equal to shoulders in width.
Feet: Large and compact.
Tail: Preferably straight. Tails that are kinked or deformed may be docked.
Temperament: Disposition is easygoing and friendly. They make excellent companions for children and active households. They are friendly towards strangers, but protective if threatened. Should not be overly aggressive or excessively shy.
